In progress
At the present time, PetroPlus is conducting its activities principally in Africa. Indeed, after acquiring two concessions covering an area of almost 85 000 km2 in the Taoudeni Basin in Mali in 2011, it signed an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) with the Gabonese government for two oil fields in 2012. The contract, confirmed by presidential decree in 2013, relates to an exploration permit for the Hyembe concession as well as an exploitation permit for the Espadon concession.
In the future
PetroPlus is also considering several development projects on the same continent, and is actively interested in purchasing oil fields in Tanzania, Morocco, Chad and the Gambia.
