Situation
Comprising part of the Roussette field, the Espadon concession is now 100% held by PetroPlus Overseas Group, which acquired its rights after entering into an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement with the Gabonese government.
News
The Roussette field is straddling the Roussette and the Espadon block. A 'Protocole d'Accord' was signed in March 2013 between Setanta Group and PetroPlus Overseas Group to manage the unitisation process and to develop the field. A development plan has been approved by authorities and first oil is planned for 2016.
